The Newark Symphony Orchestra offers its annual Free Family Concert on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. at The Independence School at 4:00 p.m. The concert theme is "The Wild Wild West," and will feature Aaron Copland's "Rodeo" and "Billy the Kid," narrated by Greg Jukes. Opening music will be provided by Cab Grass, a Bluegrass group from Cab Calloway School of the Arts. NSO Youth Concerto competition Honoree Conor McAvinue will perform with viola and fiddle; lariat artist Cowboy Phil will appear.
