THE NEWARK SYMPHONY PRESENTS “The Wild Wild West!” Free Family Concert Simeone Tartaglione, Music Director Sunday, October 4, 2015, 4:00 p.m. The Independence School 1300 Paper Mill Road, Newark, DE 19711 FREE ADMISSION The Wild West! Cowboys and Horses! Action and Excitement! Fine Music and Fiddle Music! We have it ALL...FREE! The Newark Symphony Orchestra offers its annual Free Family Concert on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. at The Independence School at 4:00 p.m. The concert theme is "The Wild Wild West," and will feature Aaron Copland's "Rodeo" and "Billy the Kid," narrated by Greg Jukes. Opening music will be provided by Cab Grass, a Bluegrass group from Cab Calloway School of the Arts. NSO Youth Concerto competition Honoree Conor McAvinue will perform with viola and fiddle; lariat artist Cowboy Phil will appear.
