The Language of Birds

Calling all birders! When a bird sings, it's telling you what it is and where it is. Increase your chances of successfully sighting and identifying songbirds "by ear" this spring using Holly's intriguing strategies. Learn how, why, and when birds sing, and come away with foundational skills for understanding and using bird language on your next birdwatching expedition. Dress for the weather, bring your binoculars, and wear practical shoes for walking over uneven paths.

Note: While this program focuses on techniques of birding, we cannot be certain of any sightings. That is the joy and spontaneity of nature, and of these explorations.
