How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

ACT Players' Summer Broadway Musical

ACT Players' presents the classic Tony Award winning musical comedy How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. The show starts when ambitious window washer, J. Pierrepont Finch, happens upon a book that offers instructions on the quickest way up the corporate ladder to success. Following the book’s instructions, Finch quickly lands a job in the mailroom of the World Wide Wicket Company. With the help of his handy book, Finch quickly gains promotions and outsmarts his rival, Bud Frump, who also happens to be the boss’s nephew. Finch also gains the love of Rosemary, a secretary at the company. In the end, however, after Finch’s TV ad campaign goes terribly awry, he discovers that the book can no longer help him. He is forced to rely on his own wits in a most spectacular manner.
