Steamin' Days at Auburn Heights

Discover the magic age of steam!

During Steamin’ Days at Auburn Heights, the site truly comes alive! Visitors can tour the Marshall Steam Museum and take rides on our 1/8-size Auburn Valley Railroad and array of antique automobiles. The Rides ticket includes admission to the museum, train rides and the chance to ride in gas, electric and steam powered automobiles. The Combo ticket allows you to tour the 1897 Auburn Heights mansion, the museum and take rides. All tickets include entrance to the grounds and the Marshall Steam Museum. Discounts available for groups of twenty or more with pre-payment. With a new theme, activities and changing exhibits each month, there is something for everyone at Steamin’ Days! June 3 - Racing into Summer: Discover the history of automobile racing while you build a racetrack out of recycled materials July 1 - Map it Out: Learn all about the maps, navigation and road trips of the past through activities and a scavenger hunt. August 5 - What will you Invent?: Test out your engineering skills when you build your own car, boat or train out of recycled materials Sept. 2 - Building Bridges: Learn bridges of all shapes and sizes before creating your own bridge to take home. October 7 - Trying out Tools: Learn about the unique tools used on automobiles and railroads, and try some out yourself. October 28 - Steamin’ Halloween: Enjoy a “spooky” day to celebrate costumes, candy and fun! Nov. 4 - Music of the Road: Discover the sounds of cars, trains, different horns and whistles and other sounds of the road. Nov. 24 - Steamin’ Thanksgiving Rides ticket: $11 per person ages 13 and up, $8 per person ages 2 to 12 Mansion ticket: $12 per person ages 13 and up, $8 per person ages 2 to 12 Combo ticket (rides and tour): $19 per person ages 13 and up, $12 per person ages 2 to 12
