Newark police have arrested Dustin Hults for his alleged involvement in two burglary incidents, and are actively seeking Donald Schiavello for his involvement. The first burglary occurred on the unit block of North Street at approximately 5 a.m. on Dec. 25, 2015. The second incident occurred between Dec. 26 and Dec. 28. Electronics, tools and other items were stolen during both incidents. Security camera footage captured during the North Street burglary helped link detectives to the suspects. The Newark Police Department conducted a search warrant at the suspects’ residence on Jan. 6, 2016 and seized stolen property from both burglaries and drug paraphernalia.

On Feb. 16, Dustin Hults turned himself into the police department. He received $34,750 secured bail for the charges that include second degree burglary, possession of a controlled substance, possession with an intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, three counts of theft, second degree conspiracy, and criminal mischief, among other related charges. He was transported to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution.

The Newark police are seeking Schiavello for burglary, theft, and other related charges.

Anyone with additional information on Schiavello’s whereabouts should contact Detective Morgan Fountain at 302-366-7100 ext. 3133 or [email protected].
